Year 5- Wind Turbine Fun!

This half term, Year 5 have been using recyclable materials to create wind and water powered toys for children. They were inspired by William Kamkwamba who use rubbish to create a wind turbine in his village in Malawi.  To achieve the design brief, the children had to use many different skills including hammering and sawing to ensure their toys moved well.
