World Book Day 2024

Dear Parents and Guardians,

World Book Day takes place nationally, on Thursday 7^th March 2024 and we hope you’ll join us as we come together to celebrate our World Book Day in school.

This year, we will have lots of fun activities taking place throughout the week including:

• Dressing up on the day – you can choose to come into school in something you love to read in or you can dress up as your favourite book character.
• Sharing your child’s chosen book – send in their favourite book with them on the day so we can read it to them and their friends.
• Reading the same book in every class across school, performing a chosen poem live on dojo and writing our own funny poems.
• Sending home a £1 World Book Day book token to get a free book to keep!
• Y1-6 will be taking part in an Online event – The Great Big Footy and Booky Quiz 2024!
