The Year of Reading 2026

We love reading at Stanley Grove! During 2026, there will be new events to help us celebrate the National Year of Reading.

Mrs Footman will continue to share stories and book recommendations every week on her Dojo Book Club. Dojo Book Club with Mrs Footman

We have also started a weekly Book Swap where children can come and exchange a book they have read for a new one all for free!

There is also a new Reading Award, celebrated weekly at Mrs Footman’s special book club (including hot chocolate and biscuits!).
